I have been part of the Radio Flash team since in 1982, after a few stints in other small radios. I was very young.

To me, radio was a way to approach music, I’ve always imagined and interpreted it visually rather than playing it. I’m not a musician, neither do I sing. Mine it’s a journey that began as a video maker, which that led me to move first to Milan then to Rome.

I owe a lot to music: in a music video, the rhythm is the editing, the melody is the movement of the camera, of the characters, of the words, of the emotion and of the story.

My first television experiences began at Radio Flesh, videos were becoming my passion and, through the foresight of Francesco Carboncini (Phran), then CEO of Radio Flash, through the creation of a traveling video disco – which then became the BIG CLUB – I got the opportunity to experience a role, that I felt as mine, but which in reality did not yet exist: the VJ (Video DJ).

We were changing history without realizing it, a bit like what we would like to do today, with this new cultural platform.
