Rachel is a LEED-accredited residential designer and licensed general contractor who specializes in the development of Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs).  She introduced an innovative model for flexible housing called Junior Accessory Dwelling Units (JADUs) offering an affordable option for renting and owning a home in California. She consults with homeowners on development of ADUs in the Bay Area and is currently working with Hello Housing as the Senior Construction Project Manager for their “Bright in Your Own Backyard” ADU program.
